“To be selected to work side-by-side with mobile carriers and high-tech universities and research centers is an honor for us”, says mBox CEO, Bo Nielsen. “We obviously feel that this confirms our knowledge about commercial product development targeted at mobile phones on a world-wide basis, where the goal is to optimize or simplify processes to enable growth”
The goal of the project is to investigate if mobile technology can be used to narrow down the gap between consumer needs and commercial companies’ product development department and, therefore, saving the companies money by focusing development to market needs rather than basing their development on their own convictions only. Building upon the established foundation in cultural probes the goal is to make them mobile and enabling consumers to report their experiences and needs directly to the manufacturer.
“It is going to be a great challenge to us and the rest of the project team, but we look forward to publish our findings to enrich the country of Denmark’s business environment” comments Bo Nielsen
